Another rejection letter. This time from Hastings. It was another reach school and i know that but it still gets me down. Still waiting for USF and Santa Clara, my two top choices and Golden Gate. This is not a good sign and gets me worried. My plans for the summer and relying on me getting into a law school and not having to worry about getting an internship or job. Im starting to get nervous.
On a happier note, UCLA basketball defeated Pitt today in the sweet sixteen. That means that tomorrow afternoon, yours truly will be traveling to San Jose to watch the Bruins play in the elite 8 against Kansas. Tickets are already assured thanks to Ben's ability to play 3 different people, including an Indian guy to retrieve the tickets this afternoon. Highlights include crashing on T and N's couch (Thanks guys; Love you lots), tailgating before the game, watching a great game with a Bruin victory (knock on wood) and then (tenatively) a trip to The City for a taste of the nightlife on Sat night. Shaping up to be a fun weekend excursion.
3 finals done, 1 to go at 8am. that would be a little over 7 hours from now. Ya doesn't that really sound exciting. I guess i should get back to studying
send me some good thoughts about law school...

You're a stud. You know you are. And you're going to get in. Don't worry about ND and Hastings - they don't know what they're missing. USF and Santa Clara are your top 2...focus on those...lots of positive thoughts. I am not even worried a little bit. You're getting in.
And if you don't - it means there's something else in the cards for you, or that the timing's not right. And the timing will be right eventually.
Have faith, Bub! Great, great luck on your last final. Woot! And it sounds like you're going to have such a great weekend. Wish I was there to see you...I'll be thinking of you as I spend my weekend with wine and lots of boxes and packing tape. Yawn.
I love you! Sending lots of good, positive thoughts your way.
