didja know...
did you know that if a spouse dies wrongfully, the surviving spouse can sue for damages resulting from loss of sexual intercourse?
interesting.
oh also. bill maher called the Pope a Nazi. seriously? to millions, the Pope is the living incarnation of Jesus Christ. the tangible representation of the God millions look to for guidance and support. alleging that the Pope supports Nazism, the political ideology that is associated with racism, hate and the systematic killing of 7 millions Jews during WWII, cannot be good for ratings. way to go bill. smooth move.

The Benefits of Coffee
So i received a card for a free coffee on Wednesdays throughout April and May at Starbucks. for those who know my addiction to coffee, such a find is money! so last wed i proceeded down to the neighborhood starbucks and ordered a tall coffee, no room, cause men take it black. i then wandered over to the new library for what i had hoped was going to be productive afternoon before class at 6pm. after about 30 min of drinking this coffee and studying, i promptly fell asleep. i do not know if i have hit a point where caffeine is now counterproductive. perhaps i was drugged by the barista who was hoping to knock me out so she could take me home with her and do naughty things to my unconscious body. i do not know the reason. i am not a psychic. all i do know is that i think i need to change my drink of choice. i have been drinking these cans of starbucks "doubleshots" that seem to keep me awake better. or even the cans of iced coffee that ironically i can never remember to put in the fridge so they are really room-temperature coffee. those help too. its sorta annoying though. cause i really wanted to use my card. and coffee doesn't really have a purpose if won't keep me awake.
oh i also learned that your landlord has to mitigate damages if you break your lease before its bargained for termination date. that means that if you leave early, the landlord has to use "reasonable efforts" to find a new tenant. if the LL does, then you are only liable for the difference between the new rent and your contract rent. i have been trying to get pete and grace to use this principle to break their rental contract so we can find a place this summer and then i won't be homeless, living in a cardboard box with all my law books piled over me like somesort of makeshift tent, eating leftover pizza from the round table dumpsters and singing old n'sync songs on campus in hopes of some loose change from the spoiled brats whose parents pay for their 35K tuition. but i digress.

these are really good, btw.
