Lil' bit

i think im becoming a little bit more like my father each day. with all the craziness that my life has become during the week, i really love to wake up early on weekends, make some coffee and just relax. perhaps watch some tv without feeling guilt. or eat breakfast without thinking about how much i have to read. a little quiet time when the roommate is still asleep.

however, old habits are hard to break. and like my mother, mornings haver never been my strong suit. while setting my alarm for 8:00 seems like a good idea when i go to sleep, its the last thing i want to hear in the morning. so i guess for a little while longer waking up at 1130am isn't so bad. thanks mom :)

You got the best of both of us, Dave. Lucky you! Now go set your alarm for 8:00 AM, make the coffee ahead of time, and get to bed. In the morning, ignore the alarm, sleep until 11:00, and drink your coffee on the run, all the while remembering it could have been worse: you could have slept until noon! xoxoxo

Why on earth would you want to set your alarm on the weekend?! Weekends are made for you to wake up when your body clock says it is time to wake up...THEN you make some coffee, relax, read the paper or watch tv without feeling guilty.
There is nothing worse than feeling guilty on the weekend for sleeping in...so stop it! You are allowed to have the best of both worlds!

Hahahaa!! Oh, to be able to sleep until 11:30. I wish! Waking up at 6 for work for the past 4 years has done a number on my body clock. Every weekday morning my stupid alarm goes off and I think to myself how wonderful it would be to be able to sleep in. And then the weekends roll around, and I'm bright eyed and bushy tailed at 7am.
